Michele is not only our Executive Director, she is also a mentor and friend. A long-time resident of Grand Rapids, Michele is committed wholeheartedly to the success of the community. Her leadership and diligence toward her work is truly an inspiration. As an Executive Director, Michele engages us, her team, with a genuine desire to create an atmosphere of growth, acceptance and learning.
As both a long-time resident of Grand Rapids and a leader, Michele is fueled by student and district success. Her ingenuity and dedication to collaboration, along with her deep desire to be inclusive, has been vital to forging solid relationships with district leaders and the community as well. She recognizes that in order for success to be realized, a community must embrace inclusion and equity of all; without these two pillars, our community’s foundation would crumble. A vocal leader, Michele inspires change, promotes peace, and looks to build a community of equity and achievement.
