Foundation for the Future Luncheon

On October 10, 2019, the Grand Rapids Student Advancement Foundation celebrated its 6th annual Foundation for the Future Luncheon – Physical Wellness IS the Foundation for the Future! With more than 550 guests, the Foundation highlighted the importance of physical wellness and its direct impact on students’ lives now and into the future.

Guests had the opportunity to hear from two GRPS student athletes – Adit, a sophomore at City High- and Cross-Country athlete for Ottawa Hills, and Cody, a senior at Union High and Varsity Football captain. Both students captivated guests with their stories of sports and success. Truly a wonderful testimony to what what can be accomplished at Grand Rapids Public Schools through the generosity of many!

The Luncheon is about removing obstacles and coming together as a community behind every student and saying, “YOU are worth it.” It’s about breaking down barriers that keep students from succeeding. It’s about building bridges that close gaps. It’s about the mighty impact guests have on providing the nearly 15,000 GRPS students with a meaningful educational experience that incorporates the whole child and levels the playing field.

Join us as a table captain for the 2020 Foundation for the Future Luncheon. As a table captain, you will host a table of up to 10 (you, plus nine guests) at the annual luncheon.
